Overcoming Insecurity

I truly believe with all my heart that through some hard work + the power of God, we really can overcome insecurity. Feeling as though there was layer upon layer of insecurity in my own life - I had no idea how to "make it go away".

I'd actually get real frustrated at myself FOR being insecure....until I learned that the Word teaches us what to DO. By "taking captive every though into the obedience of Christ" 2 Cor. 10:4 I made progress, deliberately replacing those thoughts that told me "Your not good enough to do this" - by saying "I am well able to do what God has called me do, I am strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might."

Thinking thoughts like THAT helped me little by little, push back the negative mindsets the enemy had tried to get me to buy into. I'm not going to buy his negativity any more! I realize now that the power in God's Word can help me get through ANY battle with how I feel about myself...and all my days I want to keep His Word, His Vision for my life, and His Truth coming out my mouth! I CAN DO what God says I can do, and so can you!
