Blogthought: The "Because" Factor

Why do we do what we do? Glad you asked!

We practice...we prepare...we overcome...we lay down our life...we choose to forgive....we learn how to do "team"....we pray...we dance...we sing....we press in....we stand against mediocrity....we ascend in worship...BECAUSE God charges us to:

"...open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive..." (Acts 26:18)

We are to lead with the understanding that we are to turn people to our magnificent God, and say to them "You are forgiven! You are free from religion and all it's demands - You have a glorious portion in Christ...Look to Him, isn't He awesome?!"

...and as we do that, we are literally snatching people out of the grip of the enemy.

Why do we endeavor to "create an irresistible atmosphere that inspires worship"? BECAUSE we hunger for souls.

Can't imagine better people to do like covert enemy raids with...I have this picture of us crawling on the ground in fatigues...."GO GO GO!"...ok.. maybe not like that...Jessica would NEVER let us wear fatigues on Sundays...
