**Leave your comments about how you thought the service went!**

Really great job today everyone!  Every week we play together, I search for ways to make us sound better and tighter, and it's getting harder and harder to do.  I feel so much love in my heart for everyone on the team.  I began to write that it's not about the music, that it's about our relationships and our giving glory to God.  However, somehow, to me, the music and the love are the same.  And I think this feeling will be even more amplified when we begin writing our own stuff!  I don't know if that makes any sense to y'all.  I can't tell whether it's cheesy or profound.  :>

Pastor Dennis was talking to us after service and said that we sounded the best we ever have.  He said that he wished he could record us and/or send us to Hollywood.  LOL.  Eileen said his eyes lit up when we began the opening riff to "Awesome God".

Here are my other thoughts:
- I love this team.  You guys really rock.  Seriously.
- I thought it was funny that the one Sunday I insist that David Eads be louder than ever, they moved him right next to me.  But that was cool, I like having him there.  (You played very well today, David.  Nice and loud.  Especially on "Let God Arise.")
- There are still some kinks to be worked out in "Awesome God" and we'll be tackling those in the coming weeks.  Please pay attention to where the breaks are in the song when you listen to it, cause that's the bulk of what we need to work on.
- I loved the way Hannah did "Still" (doing the bridge twice).  It made it really swell and settle a lot and that was cool.
- I think we finally figured out "Moving Forward" for real.

Also, for those of you who missed service today, we played the song "Brain Stew" by Green Day for our pastor intro song.  After the song, he came on stage and said to the audience, "How many of you recognize that because it was a song of your generation?" and raised his own hand.  We were kinda scratching our heads (and so were the several twenty-somethings who had raised their hands) until Steve told us Pastor probably had the song confused with a song by Chicago called "25 or 6 to 4."

I looked up the Chicago song, and no wonder he mixed them up!  Here are the snippets below so you can have a laugh for yourself.  The chords are exactly the same!

Hey Em! Awesome comments! Thanks for posting this. Yesterday was AWESOME!!! I don't know how to put it into words but it was just fun! I'm having a hard time picking my favorite part. Each song had it's own unique quality and I felt like expressed our heart to God and His towards us in a completely different and exciting way. The intros and solos and the general groover were great. I especially loved how the transition from Still to Moving Forward went. You guys truly are amazing! Sunday mornings with you all are by far my favorite time of the week. Thanks for pouring your heart into it, it shows and God is so honored!

drums were very precise; 'sound was outstanding; we played like a band. We were mushy in a couple of places in Awesome God, but that was to be expected. What Em says, "ditto."

This is a great band & choir to be a part of...

The choir was awesome... it was so much fun having a choir director lead... I think they should make people "SWAY!!!" (inside joke)
