How do you spell it? Dave + isha..."I" before "e" except after c and in words like protein and names like Daveisha.

NOPE... you spell it... I-T.... I thought you were a teacher...thank you, thank you... I'll be here all week

Where are you originally from? Washington, DC

So you are a local? How'd you manage that? Oh wait... never mind...

Do you have family in the area? Yep. My Paternal Family and Immediate Family.

What do you do full time? (beside be AWESOME) I'm an Educator ...

I think it's possible that I need an Educator... I read that as saying that you were an Ecuador

What does worship mean to you? Worship is an amazingly beautiful way to expand on an already extraordinary relationship with God. It's the opportunity to recognize God and His authority. To me worship is a lifestyle that honors God and it means full submission and commitment of the heart and mind to Him.

I've heard you like to dance? What's your dance of choice? Polka? I'm trained in contemporary, modern, tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. Tap is my favorite. I secretly want to learn the Lindy Hop and the Jive ; )

Can you teach us some choreography for one of our new songs? I've heard rumor of a snap/sway move? Yep. But first we have to have a Semi-Not entitled "How to Clap on Beat" followed by "The Beauty and Art of Unified Movement." *LOL!

What's your favorite color(s)? Why? Pink (it's fun, it's feminine, it's simply a lovely color) and Green (wildly popular in nature...it just has to be a favorite...I figure if God like it enough to use it so freely it's value is important). Should these colors not be available...yellow is acceptable (it was my favorite color when I was a little girl. I was able to identify with it's social placement on the Traffic Light Signal. We Middle creations have to stick together! LOL. Plus it's bright and funky! Then there is purple..Which probably comes in before the color yellow now due to it's association with royalty.

Is it true that you wear those colors whenever possible? These colors when worn together by anyone will make me smile. Do I have a closet full of these colors? Well, there is a section for both pink things and green things. However, due to their removal from the Worship team's color rotation the Black section far outweighs the Pink and Green Section of my closet.

If money wasn't an issue and you knew you could do whatever you set your mind to do, what would you do? I really want to partner with the less fortunate among us. God has blessed my life so that I can bless others. So if given the opportunity I'd spend my days and money invested in sharing the gospel through compassionate acts of mercy and grace.

What's your favorite song that we do and why? I have a favorite song play list. Still, In your Freedom, Where the Love Last Forever, How Great is Our God and Came to My Rescue...I think you can also add "Hold me Now" ...then there is Amazing Grace! Apparently I have a countdown. lol.

Lastly, what is one thing about you that not a lot of people know, but you wish they did? I don't like being called anything outside of my name. I'm real particular about nicknames too...there is no room for creativity when it comes to me and my name. :-)
